A few gems from my professional journey!
WNDR Poet
During 2022, I had the pleasure of being one of the resident poets at the WNDR Museum in Chicago, IL.
​
As WNDR Poet, I wrote on-the-spot flash poems for museum guests, based on two word prompts of their choosing. I have compiled some of these poems into a chapbook which can be accessed digitally by clicking the link below!
Accel Entertainment blog
I worked on a series of blog articles for Accel Entertainment, a company that distributes Video Gaming Terminals (VGTs). Much of the writing was B2B, and all blog articles incorporated key words to boost Accel Entertainment in search engines.
Go Getter Group
Early in my freelance career, I did a lot of ghostwriting for marketing companies that wanted to publish the work under their name rather than my own. This article for Go Getter Group is an excellent example of that. This blog article also offers a glimpse into how I approach the concept of digital marketing!
ZM Conservation
I worked directly with the web & graphic designer to tell the story of ZM Conservation (formerly known as MetaLabs). This project was unique in that I was tied in on a few different parts aside from copyediting and writing. I even ended up doing some photography that was used to track the progress on certain restoration jobs.
Zahner Projects
I worked at Zahner from 2013-2016. During my time there I was promoted twice. To say I wore multiple hats would be an understatement!

I did the project writeups for their website. These articles were created after every new job was completed & ready to be added to the website.

Writing the project highlight for the website after being so intimately involved with the job from its genesis was certainly something that shaped my experience as a writer early on!
I've highlighted below, a specific project where I was tied in on the job from sales, to construction and completion.
